A Satkhira court on Wednesday sent Regent Group Chairman Md Shahed alias Shahed Karim to jail as police produced him before the court after ten-day remand in an arms case.

Justice Rajiv Roy ordered to send him to Satkhira Jail.

Shahed was produced before the Satkhira Chief Judicial Magistrate’s court at around 11:30 am on Wednesday with tight security measures.

On July 26, Shahed was placed on a 10-day remand in an arms case filed with Debhata Police Station in Satkhira.
